R8rly collects and handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We are committed to transparency in how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information.

What We Collect

  • Business name and town (business accounts)
  • Rating data and review content you submit
  • Device analytics (anonymised)
  • IP address and geolocation (for local ratings)

Data Retention

Personal information is retained while your account is active. Upon deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised rating data may be retained as platform data.

Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We share only with: payment processors (Stripe), OAuth providers (Google, Apple, Facebook), and cloud infrastructure (Supabase, Firebase/Google Cloud) — all under data processing agreements.

OAuth Authentication

All registered and paid users log in via OAuth 2.0. We never store your password. You can revoke R8rly's access at any time through your provider (Google, Apple, Facebook) settings.

Data Storage

Primary data in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Real-time ratings cached in Firebase Firestore. Sync every 15 minutes. All data encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3).
